AKINTAN, JCA: (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appeal against four interlocutory rulings and the final judgment delivered by the National Assembly/Governorship and Legislative Houses Election Petition Tribunal for Plateau State holding in Jos. The four rulings were respectively delivered on 28th May 2003; 12th June 2003; 14th June 2003; and 16th June 2003 while the final judgment was delivered on 24th June 2003. The dispute that led to the filing of the petition at the Tribunal arose over the results of the election declared by the INEC (now 2nd respondent) in respect of the Governorship Elections for Plateau State conducted by the said 2nd respondent on 19th April, 2003. The 1st appellant, Jonah David Jang, was a candidate at the said election. He contested on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) which is the present 2nd appellant.
