JUDGMENT

The Plaintiff herein, John Kwawukume, was employed by the defunct Ghana Airways Limited in the United States of America (USA) as an Accounts Officer on the 1st day of April, 1998. The Plaintiff served in that capacity for a period of six years ten months until the Company ceased operations in February, 2005. As part of the winding up process of Ghana Airways Limited, severance awards were computed for all staff of the Company including the USA staff. The computed severance award of the Plaintiff came to forty two thousand, six hundred and forty US dollars, thirty-six cents (US$42,640.36). Out of the said sum, only six thousand, three hundred and ninety four dollars, forty cents (US$6,394.40) has been paid to him in five installments between 2007 and 2008 with the last installment being paid in August, 2008.
