MUKHTAR, JCA(Delivering the Lead Judgment): In a writ of summons taken out by the plaintiff/respondent, in the High Court of Plateau State sitting at Shendam, the plaintiff’s claim reads as follows: “The plaintiff ’s claim against the defendants jointly and severally is for the sum of N81,520.00 (Eighty one thousand, five hundred and twenty Naira) being items stolen, by the 1st defendant in the compound of the plaintiff situated behind A.P. Filing Station Shendam - Lafia Road. That the 2nd and 3rd defendants are the guardians of the first plaintiff.
