JUDGMENT 

This petition was filed following leave granted by this court for the Petitioner to file a petition within two years of marriage in accordance with section 9(2) of the Matrimonial Causes Act, 1971 (Act 367). 

The parties were married on the 14th day of November 2014 at the Adenta Municipal Assembly office. Accra. The petitioner is a biomedical engineer with  the Ghana Armed Forces Medical Corps at the 37 Military Hospital. 

After the marriage, the parties cohabited at Negelli Barracks, 37 Military Hospital. 

The marriage did not produce an issue. The Petitioner in his petition filed on 9th December 2015 is praying the court for the following reliefs: 

(1) An order for the dissolution of the marriage celebrated between the two on the 14th day of November, 2014 at the Adenta Municipal Assembly, Adenta since same has broken down beyond  reconciliation. 

(2) Any other relief as the court may deem fit.
