UGOCHUKWU ANTHONY OGAKWU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the decision of the Federal High Court, Abuja Division, wherein an order was made for the final forfeiture to the Federal Government of the Appellant’s properties situate at House No. 19, Burundi Street, Zone 5, Wuse, FCT Abuja; House No. 3, Timbuktu Street, Zone 6, Wuse, FCT Abuja; House No. 12, Jimma Street, Zone 6, Wuse, FCT, Abuja and House No. 27, Lusaka Street, Zone 6, Wuse, FCT, Abuja.

​The Appellant was dissatisfied with the decision of the lower Court and appealed against the same by Notice of Appeal filed on 1st July 2019. However, the extant Notice of Appeal on which the appeal was argued is the Notice of Appeal which was also filed within time on 4th September 2019. The judgment of the lower Court which was delivered on 28th June 2019 is at pages 1598-1640 of Volume 2 of the Records of Appeal, while the extant Notice of Appeal is at pages 2-7 of the Additional Record of Appeal.
