ABUBAKAR SADIQ UMAR, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division delivered by C.J. Aneke, J., on 14th October, 2013 in respect of an application for the enforcement of the Appellant’s fundamental rights.

By a Motion on Notice dated and filed 19th April, 2012 brought pursuant to Order 2 Rules 1, 2 & 3 of the Fundamental Rights (Enforcement Procedure) Rules 2009, Sections 33, 34, 35, 44 & 46 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Articles 2, 5, 6, 14 & 16 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights (Ratification and Enforcement) Act, Cap.
