1.0 Background

1.1 This is a criminal appeal against the 12 years prison sentence that the trial Circuit Court, Keta on 12 May 2017 imposed on the appellant after the conviction of various crimes the appellant together with the other convicts committed. The appellant is unrepresented in this appeal. He personally with the aid of the Welfare Officer of the hosting prison facility filed this appeal upon leave of the Court dated 19 October 2020. 

1.2 The relevant brief facts are that on 12 May 2017, the trial Circuit Court convicted the appellant and three other accused persons for six offences ranging variously from conspiracy, unlawful entry, causing unlawful damage, stealing, abetment of crime, and having in possession stolen property contrary to law.
