The Appellant contested the election as the candidate of the 4th Respondent while the 1st Respondent contested on the platform of the 2nd Respondent. At the conclusion of the election, the appellant was declared winner and was returned as the elected member of the House of Representatives representing Langteng North/Langteng South Federal Constituency Plateau State. Being dissatisfied with the result, the 1st and 2nd Respondents as petitioners filed a petition against the election of the AppelIant before the National and State Houses of Assembly Election Tribunal Plateau State.
