MASSOUD ABDULRAHMAN OREDOLA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): By a motion on notice dated and filed on 17th January 2013 the applicants prayed for the following order(s):-
"1. AN ORDER granting leave to the Appellants/Applicants to appeal against the judgment delivered on the 26th November, 2012 by Hon, Justice B. B. Kanyip of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State in respect of the case of Mr. M. A. Jegede v. Local Government Service Commission Ekiti State and Attorney-General of Ekiti State, Suit No. NIC/LA/162/2011.
2. SUCH FURTHER ORDER(S) as this Honourable Court may deem fit to make in the circumstances."
The sole ground upon which the application is predicated goes thus:
"The appellant/applicant is desirous to appeal against the judgment of the trial court delivered on 26th November, 2012 by Hon, Justice B. B. Kanyip, and it is requirement of the law to seek leave from this court before an appeal can be filed."
