JUDGMENT

AMALEBOBA, J.

The wife Petitioner filed this Petition for dissolution of the marriage celebrated  between the parties. She contended that as a result of the unreasonable behaviour of the Respondent among others, the marriage had broken down beyond reconciliation. She sought further ancillary reliefs, praying for custody of the only issue of the marriage, with limited access to the Petitioner, maintenance for the issue for the marriage, an order that Respondent pay the  educational and medical expenses of the issue of the marriage, financial provision for herself, costs of the action and for any other reliefs.

The Respondent filed an answer by which he mostly traversed the averments in the Petitioner’s Petition and cross-petitioned for a dissolution of the  marriage, custody of the issue of the marriage with access to the Petitioner,  joint maintenance of the child, that each party bears their own costs and for  other reliefs the Court deems fit.
