JUDGMENT

This is a judgment hinging on a Petition of Appeal filed on the 9 May 2022 on behalf of the above named Appellant who was the 1 Accused person at the trial Court. The appeal was filed pursuant to leave granted to file appeal out of time by the High Court on the 29 March 2022.

The Appeal was against the sentences on two (2) counts of Conspiracy to commit crime, namely Robbery and Robbery. The Appellant was sentenced on the 21 July 2014  by the Circuit Court “1”, Accra then presided over by His Honour Francis Obiri Esq. (as he then was) to fifteen (15) years IHL on count one (1) and twenty (20) years IHL on count two (2),  both counts to run concurrently.
