JUDGMENT
INTRODUCTION
The Plaintiff, Mannah Farms Ghana Limited, is a company incorporated under the laws of Ghana and engaged in the business of mechanised farming, including the cultivation of crops, fish farming and related agri-business activities. The Defendant, Nana Ntim, is a person who, at the material time, held himself out as a Presidential Staffer working from the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana.
By a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim filed on the 2nd day of July 2020, the Plaintiff commenced this action against the Defendant claiming, among other reliefs, declarations of defamation and trespass, damages under various heads, and a perpetual injunction.
