JUDGMENT

YARTEY, J.

Per their amended writ of summons dated the 29th day of July 2016, the plaintiffs claim  against the defendants the following reliefs: 

1. A declaration that plaintiffs are entitled to recover the current value of four plots  of land at Atasomanso which defendants purported to lease to them (value per plot  as at 2012 when the writ of summons was being issued GH¢14,000). 

2. An order for the recovery of the current value of the four (4) plots and the interest  thereon from the date of judgment at the commercial rate until final payment. 

3. An order for the recovery of special damages of GH¢6,113 being the cost incurred by plaintiffs in developing the parcels of land which defendants purported to lease to them and the interest thereon at the prevailing commercial rate of interest in Ghana Commercial Bank from 13th of April 2011 when a formal demand for restitution was made on defendants till date of final payment.
