EMMANUEL AKOMAYE AGIM, JSC (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal No.SC/1519/2019 was commenced on 27-8- 2019 when the appellant herein filed a notice of appeal against the judgment of the Court of Appeal delivered on 31-5-2019 in Appeal No. CA/L715/2018 dismissing the appeal by the appellant herein for lack of merit and affirming the judgment of the Federal High Court at Lagos, delivered on 27-4-2018 in Suit No. FHC/L/CS/1507/2017, dismissing the appellant's application to set aside the order of interim forfeiture of the sum of N1,222,384,857.84 in the appellant's account with Access Bank Plc and N220,000,000 in the accounts of the 2nd and 3rd respondents obtained on 13-10-2017 and granting the 1st respondent's application for an order of final forfeiture of the said sums of money. The notice of this appeal was with leave of this court amended.
