ADEBUKUNOLA ADEOTI BANJOKO, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an Appeal against the Judgment delivered by Honorable Justice Folasade Ojo of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory delivered on the 31st day of May 2017, in Suit No: FCT/HC/CV /473/2012, which is contained in Pages 307 to 333 of the Record of Appeal. The Appellant had claimed the following reliefs against the Respondent:
Special and General Damages of N50l, 846, 345.00 (Five Hundred and One Million, Eight Hundred and Forty-Six Thousand, Three Hundred and Forty-Five Naira) based on the facts and circumstances of this Suit. The Appellant had also sought in the alternative as follows:
a) Special Damages of N1,846,345.00 (One Million, Eight Hundred and Forty-Six Thousand, Three Hundred and Forty-Five Naira)
b) The Cost of Medical Treatment, Feeding, Clothing, Shelter and N50.000.00 Monthly Allowance for the Plaintiff for life or till the Plaintiff is certified healed.
