MASSOUD ABDULRAHMAN OREDOLA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal by the 1st and 2nd Appellants is against the ruling of the Kano State Governorship and Legislative Houses Election Tribunal sitting in Kano, delivered on 2nd August, 2007 and in which the motion brought by the Appellants for issuance of pre-hearing notice form was refused. The Tribunal consequently dismissed the petition as abandoned.

The 1st Appellant was fielded by the 2nd Appellant as its candidate at the election into the Kano State House of Assembly Bichi Constituency held on 14th April, 2007. The 1st Respondent was also the candidate of the 2nd Respondent at the said election. The 3rd - 6th Respondents and others in essence conducted the election and at the end of which the 1st Respondent was declared the winner.
