On the 11th day of May 2001, the Plaintiff/Respondent (hereinafter referred to as the Plaintiff) issued a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim in the registry of the Circuit Court, Odumase Krobo claiming the following reliefs against the Defendant/Appellant (hereinafter referred to as the Defendant).

(i) An order of the court demarcating 10 acres of the disputed land to the Defendant being the area of land sold to him by the late Asafoatse Narhmati II.

(ii) Declaration of title to all that piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being at Likpa near Okwenya and bounded as follows:-

on the East by the Okwe river

on the West by the Likpa Stream

on the North by the Tema Akosombo motor road

on the South by the Plaintiff’s land

(iii) General damages for trespass.

(iv) Recovery of possession.

(v) An order of the court annulling any sale of the Plaintiff’s land by the Defendant to third parties.
