JOSEPH OLUBUNMI KAYODE OYEWOLE, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is in respect of an appeal against the decision of the Federal High Court, Abuja Division sitting in Abuja delivered on the 28th June, 2019 by QUADRI, J.
The Respondent obtained an order of interim forfeiture from the lower court in respect of a number of properties including the property described as Block 4, Flat 1, Four Bedroom Semi Detached Farewell Estate, Games Village, Abuja listed as No. 2 in the schedule to the application of the Respondent for the said interim forfeiture. The said interim order included a directive for the publication thereof inviting any interested member of the public with justifiable cause to prevent a final order for forfeiture of the said properties to show such cause within fourteen days of the said publication.
