DAUDU, SAN (Delivering the Direction of the Committee): This matter came up for hearing de-novo on Thursday 28th February, 2013. The respondent Olawale Ojoge-Daniel, Esq. was present, and said he will be appearing for himself. Thus, the complaint is of three counts dated 26th February, 2013 it read thus:

1. That you, Olawale Ojoge-Daniel, male, adult a lawyer in active legal practice sometime, in June 2006, was briefed by the petitioner to institute an action against the petitioner’s employers. Nigeria Baptist convention for unfair termination of her employment and that you deliberately refused to carry out the petitioner’s brief after collecting the sum of ₦100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand) as professional fees and thereby conducted yourself in an infamous professional manner in breach of rules 1, 14 and 16(c) of the Rules of Professional Conduct in the legal profession.
