ABUBAKAR DATTI YAHAYA, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The prayer of the plaintiffs, now respondents, before the High Court, Minna, in the Statement of claim, are: -

(a) A declaration that all the plaintiffs in this matter are entitled to compensation from the Defendants as a result of the compulsory acquisition of the plaintiff's land by the 1st Defendant through the 3rd Defendant.

(b) A declaration that the Ninety-five thousand naira (N95,000.00) given to one of the plaintiffs is grossly inadequate and cannot be said to be a compensation for all the plaintiffs.

(c) A declaration that the said piece and parcel of land situate at the proposed site for NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Kpanayi Village, via Paiko in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State is and so remains the property of the plaintiffs unless and until they are adequately compensated in accordance with the true economic value of the subject matter
