ABBA BELLO MOHAMMED, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment) : This is an Appeal against the judgment of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, coram: Hon. Justice A.R. Mohammed, delivered on the 26th of January, 2022 in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/511/2020; ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR RIVERS STATE v ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION & 3 ORS. The judgment of the trial court is contained at pages 301 – 346 of the Record of Appeal. The Appellant which was not a party to the suit was granted leave by this Honourable Court to appeal as an interested party and extension of time to appeal. The enrolled order granting leave dated 19th November, 2024 is at pages 360 - 361 of the Record of Appeal. Pursuant to the said leave, the Appellant filed its Notice of Appeal on the 5th of December, 2024 which can be found on pages 347-359 of the Record of Appeal.
