The 1st respondent was once an employee of the 2nd respondent, as a security guard. At that time, the 2nd respondent was in a contract with the 3rd respondent to provide security guards for precincts where the 2nd respondent had its activities. Between the appellant and the 3rd respondent, there existed a contract. That contract caused the 3rd respondent to have its operations within the precincts of the business premises of the appellant. Thus, the 2nd respondent sent the 1st respondent to give security to the 3rd respondent on the premises of the appellant. Something unfortunate occurred one day – 01/02/2009. There was a gas explosion. The 1st respondent claimed to have been physically affected by the explosion, such that his health was affected.
