OGEBE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The respondent sued the appellant in the High Court of Justice, Port Harcourt seeking in his writ of summons filed on the 18th day of May, 1995 the following reliefs:
"1 A declaration that the plaintiff is entitled to remain in her employment with the defendant and to perform her duties and be paid her regular salaries and other entitlements unless and until her employment is properly determined in accordance with law.
2.A declaration that the plaintiff's suspension from duty as contained in the defendant's letter dated 29/10/93 is wrongful, irregular, ultra vires, null and void.
3.A declaration that the order of the defendant freezing the plaintiff's account No. 020 and deductions from the plaintiff's salaries is wrongful, unlawful, ultra vires, null and void.
