JUDGMENT

AKAMBA, J.A

This appeal is from the decision of the High Court Accra, delivered on 21st December 2009 following a trial which according to the records spanned a period of about twenty years. The 1st, 3rd and 5th defendants/appellants who are aggrieved by the decision have appealed to this court seeking a reversal thereof.

The parties in this appeal will continue to be referred to by their various positions they held at the trial court, whether as first, second or third except for the substitution of plaintiff for respondents and defendants for appellants. This is intended to ease appreciation of the evidence as it relates back from the record of appeal.
