E. O. WILLIAMS-DAWODU, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The Appellant being aggrieved by the Judgment of the Federal High Court, Abuja, delivered by Hon. Justice N. E. Maha on January 2020 Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/1529/2018, wherein the Court found that the case of the Appellant (the Applicant at the Court below) was without merit and same was consequently dismissed.
At the Court below, the Appellant by an Originating Motion of December 12 2018 by virtue of the Enforcement Procedure Rules, 2009 pursuant to Sections 35 (1), (4), (5) and (6), 36 (1) and (5) and 46 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, Section 1 of the African Charter on Human and People's Rights Act 1990 and the inherent jurisdiction of the Court sought the following reliefs in the main:
