BIOBELE ABRAHAM GEORGEWILL, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the High Court of Ogun State, Abeokuta Division, Coram: Abiodun A. Akinyemi J, in Suit No. AB/98/2019: Olusesan Ogunjobi & Ors V. Segun Olonade & Ors, delivered on 24/3/2022, in which the Claims of the Appellants as Claimants against the Respondents as Defendant were dismissed as being caught by the doctrine of Estoppel.
The Appellants were peeved with the said judgment and had appealed against it vide his Notice of Appeal filed on 30/5/2022 on five Grounds of Appeal. See pp 188 - 191 of the Record of Appeal. The Record of Appeal was compiled and transmitted to this Court on 26/8/2022. The Parties filed and exchanged their briefs, namely: The Appellants’ brief, the Respondents’ brief and the Appellants’ Reply brief.
