OLAGUNJU, J.C.A.(Delivering the Leading Ruling): In a decision given on 9/1/96. the Supreme Court remitted the present appeal back to this court ho be determined on the grounds of appeal filed thereat by the appellant and the issues raised by the parties in their respective briefs of argument'. But before the hearing of the appeal the appellant, on 22/10/97. filed a motion asking for leave to file and argue additional grounds of appeal and to amend his brief of argument. In a considered ruling delivered on 25/6/98 this court refused and dismissed the application.
On 7/7/98 the appellant filed a Notice of Appeal against that ruling and on the strength of the Notice of Appeal he filed the present application on 8/7/98 praying this court to stay proceedings on the appeal before it pending the determination of the interlocutory appeal before the Supreme Court.
