OGUNTADE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): The lower court in suit No.M/185/97, out of which the present appeals arose delivered three rulings on 18/7/97. The appellant has raised one notice of appeal against two of the three rulings. This is most undesirable. The appellant should have raised a separate notice of appeal for each. He could then later in this court apply that the two appeals be consolidated for hearing.
The procedure adopted by the appellant is capable of creating a lot of confusion. For instance, in writing this judgment, I have had first to look at the issues for determination and to relate each of the issues by its substance to one or the other of the ruling in order to determine which particular ruling was being discussed.
