MUHAMMAD, JCA (Delivering the Lead Ruling): By their motion dated 25th May, 2001, the applicants are praying this court for the following reliefs:- 1. Enlargement of time within which to seek leave to appeal,
Leave to appeal and Extension of time within which to appeal.
The application is supported by a twenty-seven paragraph affidavit with four annextures thereto. The affidavit in support of the motion was deposed to by the 1st applicant G. S. Okereke for himself and on behalf of the 2nd applicant. Mr. Edwin Chinwendu Ibe learned counsel for the respondent deposed to the counter-affidavit of seven paragraphs in opposition to the facts contained in the affidavit in support of the applicants’ motion and thus the prayers contained in the motion papers.
