ABUBAKAR SADIQ UMAR, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an interlocutory appeal against the ruling of the High Court of Enugu State delivered by Hon. E. N. Oluedo in Charge No. E/95C/2011 on 28th May, 2019 wherein the trial Court dismissed the Appellant’s no case submission and ordered him to enter his defence to the charge proffered against him.

BRIEF STATEMENT OF FACTS

By an information dated 1/7/2011 and filed on 4/7/2011, the Appellant is standing trial on thirteen counts information for the offences of Obtaining Money Under False Pretences contrary to Section 1(1) Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006 and stealing by conversion contrary to Section 342 of the Criminal Code Law of Enugu State.
