FADAWU UMARU, J.C.A.(Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is directed against the ruling of the Customary Court of Appeal of Ogun State (hereinafter referred to as "the Court below"), coram Honourable Justice A.O. Araba, Presiding Justice, Honourable Justice P.O. Akinsinde, and Honourable Justice A.O. Lawal, delivered on the 13th day of March, 2024, in Suit No. OG/CCA/M/3(C)/2023.
The Appellants were the claimants before the Customary Court Grade II, Ogun State, sitting at Papalanto, in Suit No. PA/32/2022: Pa Aremu Adediran & Ors. v. Chief Jubril Showunmi. Their action concerned title to a substantial expanse of land situated, lying, and being at Arigbajo Eyin Village, Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State.
