(Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal is against the judgment of the Customary Court of Appeal of Imo State, sitting at Owerri in Appeal Case No. CCA/OW/A/25/2006 delivered on the 30th day of April, 2008 wherein it affirmed the judgment of the Customary Court, Owerri North Local Government Area delivered on 30/5/2004.
The claims of the Respondents as Plaintiff at the trial Customary Court against the Appellant as Defendant were as follows:
