HARUNA SIMON TSAMMANI, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the Ogun State High Court of Justice, sitting at High Court No.5, Abeokuta, delivered by Hon. Justice O. O. Majekodunmi in Case No: AB/8C/2012, on the 5th day of November, 2012.
Before the said High Court of Ogun State, the Appellant and three other persons were charged, arraigned and tried on an Information alleging seven (7) Counts of Conspiracy to commit murder, murder and attempted murder which are offences contrary to Sections 324, 319(1) and 320 of the Criminal Code Law, in Volume 1 of the Laws of Ogun State of Nigeria, 2006. They were alleged to have conspired to murder and did murder Muri Salami, Taiwo Gafari and Kehinde Gafari. They were also accused of attempting to murder Abidat Salami, Aremu Adedoyin and Alani Quadri.
