ABBA BELLO MOHAMMED, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Ruling): The Applicants brought this Motion on Notice dated 9th February, 2021 and filed on the 10th of February, 2021, seeking for "An Order extending time within which to appeal, in line with Section 24(2)(a) of the Court of Appeal Act, against the ruling of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Bwari Judicial Division (Per Honourable Justice Bello Kawu), delivered on the 21st of September, 2020 in Suit No. FCT/HC/CV/11/2020, referred to as Exhibit A in paragraph 3(a) of the Affidavit in support."

The application, which was brought upon six grounds, was supported by a four (4) paragraph affidavit deposed to on the 10th of February, 2021 by Ayodeji Emmanuel, a staff of the Federal Ministry of Education. A Written Address dated and filed on the 6th July, 2021 was also adopted on behalf of the Applicants in support of the application.
