JUDGMENT 

The husband/Petitioner seeks the dissolution of the marriage celebrated between himself and the Respondent and prays per the following reliefs: 

a. That the marriage between the respondent and the petitioner on 21st January 2006 in  Accra be dissolved.  

b. An order for the custody of the child be granted to the Respondent and Petitioner be  given access to the child. 

c. Any other order or orders as this Honourable court may deem fit. 

The Respondent on the other hand prays for the following: 

a. The dissolution of the marriage contracted on 21st January 2006. 

b. Alimony/Lump sum. 

c. Payment of all expenses (medical, feeding, schools) incurred by the Respondent, since  she delivered her daughter Claudia Gyabaa in March 2009. 

d. Payment of legal fees. 

e. Costs and any other order(s) the Court may deem fit.

According to the Petitioner, a policeman, whereas he lives in Accra the Respondent has been  living in France before the performance of both the customary and ordinance marriage…
