BIOBELE ABRAHAM GEORGEWILL, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the High Court of Rivers State, Port Harcourt Judicial Division, Coram: I. Wodi J, in Suit No. PHC/141/1996: Mr. Amadi Peters v. Mr. Morrow Oruambo delivered on 9/8/2017, in which the Appellant as Claimant’s Claim against the Respondent as Defendant for Declaration of title to the landed property was dismissed, and the Respondent’s Counter-Claim against the Appellant was granted.
The Appellant was peeved with the said judgment and had appealed against it vide his Notice of Appeal filed on 27/10/2017 on seven Grounds of Appeal. See pp. 534-540 of the Record of Appeal. The Record of Appeal was compiled and transmitted to this Court on 8/10/2019 and was deemed and properly transmitted on 22/6/2020.
