BIOBELE ABRAHAM GEORGEWILL, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the judgment of the High Court of Lagos State, Coram: L. B. Lawal Akapo J., in Suit No: ID/351/2006 Arc. Gabriel Olufemi Ayodele v. Lagos State Government and Anor., delivered on 4/3/2011, in which some of the claims of the 1st Respondent as Claimant were granted against the Appellant as 2nd Defendant.

The Appellant was dissatisfied with the said judgment and had promptly appealed to this Court vide its original Notice of Appeal filed on 1/6/2011 on nine grounds of appeal at pages 311-315 of the Record of Appeal. The Record of Appeal was transmitted to this Court on 1/2/2012 but deemed properly transmitted on 1/11/2013. The Appellant sought and obtained the leave of this Court and filed its Amended Notice of Appeal on 19/12/2013 on ten grounds of appeal and was deemed properly filed on 1/2/2016.
