(Delivering the Lead Judgment): This appeal is against the judgment of Adamawa State High Court of Justice sitting in Mubi in its appellate jurisdiction in Appeal No. HC/ADSM/1m/2023 presided over by Hon. Justice Abbas Adamu Hobon between the parties herein as the Appellant and the Respondent. The Adamawa State High Court of Justice Sitting in Mubi (hereinafter referred to as “the Court below”) dismissed the Appellant’s appeal against the Respondent. The Appellant further appealed to this Hon. Court vide a notice and grounds of appeal dated and filed on the 5th July, 2024 after this Court graciously extended time for the Appellant to do so in its order made on the 26th June, 2024.
