(Delivering the Leading Judgment): There is before this Court the main appeal filed by the Registered Trustees of Onitsha Printing Paper Dealers Association on 10th July, 2012. The Registered Trustees had been sued by Mr. Law Edemanya before the High Court of Justice of Anambra State holden at Onitsha Judicial Division on 7th November, 2006 as the 1st defendant. In the course of proceedings the learned trial Judge D.O.C. Amaechina, J., made an order on 23rd May, 2007 joining Onitsha North Local Government as the 2nd defendant. The Onitsha North Local Government is the 2nd defendant as 2nd respondent in the main appeal. Mr. Law Edemanya cross-appealed on 9th August, 2012 without joining the Onitsha North Local Government as a cross-respondent as relief is sought by the cross-appellant as against the Local Government in the cross-appeal.
