J U D G M E N T 

Per her petition filed on the 9th day of June, 2014, the petitioner is seeking the dissolution of her customary marriage contracted with the Respondent on the 15th day of July, 2000. In addition, she is seeking the following ancillary reliefs: 

a. An order for the Respondent to pay the sum of GHȼ30,000 to the Petitioner as financial provision. 

b. An order for the Respondent to pay the sum of GHȼ10,000.00 to the Petitioner to enable her provide herself with decent accommodation.

c. An order for the Respondent to provide Petitioner reasonable access to the children of the marriage. 

d. An equitable share in money of the parties’ property situate at Kasoa and acquired during the subsistence of the marriage.

e. Any other orders as the Court may deem fit in the circumstances. 

It is the case of the Petitioner that after their marriage, the parties co habited at Adabraka, Accra. Per the Petition, there are two issues of the marriage, Karen Naa Kowa Lartey and Kevin Neans Lartey…
