MOJEED ADEKUNLE OWOADE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the Judgment of Honourable Justice Haleema Saleeman of the Kwara State High Court Ilorin delivered on 7th day of October, 2013 in Suit No. KWS/177/2009.
The Appellants as claimants took out a writ of summons and statement of claim against the Respondent on 6/10/2009. By their Amended Joint Statement of Claim of 22/07/2010 the Appellants claim against the Respondents are as follows:
1. A declaration that the dismissal of the claimants from services of 1st defendant with effect from 1st April, 2009 via notice of disengagement from service pasted on the notice board of the 1st defendant is wrongful.
2. A declaration that the purported dismissal of the claimants from service of the 1st defendant is a gross violation of the claimants right to fair hearing in accordance with acceptable rules of contractual relationship.
