JUDGMENT

AMALEBOBA, J.

The husband - Petitioner caused this Petition to issue against his wife, the Respondent seeking the following reliefs; 

a. That the marriage celebrated between the parties on 13th May 2005 be dissolved. 

b. That each party bear their respective costs of the suit. 

The ground upon which this Petition was issued is that the marriage has broken down beyond reconciliation. The facts averred to by the Petitioner as the cause of the breakdown of the marriage are that the parties who got married in Virginia in the United States of America on 13th May 2005 agreed that they should both relocate to Ghana. The Petitioner says that though he  relocated, the Respondent has failed to do so and never visited Ghana in the  last six (6) years that he has been in Ghana. That as a result of this the  parties have not lived together as husband and wife for the past six (6) years  since his relocation to Ghana.
