The Applicant prays the Court for a declaration that the conduct of the 1st Respondent was wrongful and in breach of his fundamental human rights as enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana, 1992.

Secondly, the Applicant prays for an order directed at the 1st Respondent to pay him a compensatory amount of Five Hundred and Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢530,000.00) being the amount of losses he has incurred since 2012.

The Applicant further seeks interests on the amount of GH¢530,000.00 from May 2012 until the date of final payment as well as costs and any other order or orders as the Court may deem meet. The undisputed facts that have given rise to this suit is that sometime in April, 2012, one Veldonna Retel transferred the sum of Twenty-four Thousand United States of American Dollars (USD 24,000.00) to the Applicant through the Applicant’s account with the 1st Respondent.
