JUDGMENT
The Plaintiff who issued out a writ of summons with an accompanying Statement of Claim on 23rd December 2005 claims per the following reliefs:
a. General damages for negligence and breach of statutory duty in the operation of a hydraulic machine resulting in injuries to Plaintiff.
b. Any further order or orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit.
According to the statement of claim the Plaintiff was on or about 25th April 2004, employed by the Defendant Company as a machine operator and had been trained for three months. At about 11:45 pm on 11th November 2004 after reporting for work, he was instructed by his supervisor to assist Mr Ataa Nii Kwei to operate hydraulic compressor No. 6 which is used in moulding yoghurt containers by removing the finished products from the compressor using his bare hands when his colleague sought permission to visit the washroom.
