ADEBUKUNOLA ADEOTI BANJOKO, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This Appeal is against the Judgment delivered by Honourable Justice A. ABDU-KAFARATI of the Federal High Court, Abuja delivered on the 30th Day of March, 2017 in Suit No FHC/ABJ/CS/243/2016, contained at Pages 31- 35 of the Record of Appeal filed on the 6th Day of July, 2017. The Brief facts of the Case that gave rise to this Appeal were that, the Respondent, during a routine visit to the Appellant's Registered place of Business, discovered that the Appellant failed to display its Registration Number at the outside space of its business premises, contrary to the Provision of Section 548(1) (a) of the Company and Allied Matters Act, LFN, 2004, (hereinafter referred to as CAMA). Due to this non-compliance with the Law, a Caveat was imposed on the activities of the Appellant and they were asked to pay a Penalty Sum of Five Hundred and Eleven Thousand Naira Only (₦511, 000.00) by the Respondent.
