BALKISU BELLO ALIYU, J.C.A. (Delivering the Lead Judgment): This appeal is against the ruling of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Judicial division, delivered on the 4th May 2023 by Hon. Justice Asmau Akanbi Yusuf in respect of suit No: FCT/HC/CV/408/2019. The suit was filed by the 1st Respondent as the Claimant vide an amended Writ of Summons accompanied with an amended Statement of Claim the 1st Respondent claims were against the Appellant, the 2nd and 3rd Respondents (being the 2nd and 3rd Defendants at the trial Court) and one SHELL PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LTD sued as the 1st Defendant, though it is not included as a party in the notice of this appeal.
