ELFRIEDA OLUWAYEMISI WILLIAMS-DAWODU, JCA (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This appeal emanated from the decision of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, delivered on July 24th 2020 by Hon. Justice Olukayode A. Adeniyi, wherein the Court declined jurisdiction in the matter of the Appellants' (Claimants at the Court below) on grounds of territorial limitations and consequently upheld the objection of the 1st Respondent (1st Defendant at the Court below) and struck out the entire Appellants' suit.
The gist of the facts herein briefly as garnered from the printed Record before this Court is that, the 1st Appellant, who contested for the position of Ward Chairman of the 1st Respondent, Suntai Ward in Taraba State was dissatisfied with the conduct of the 1st Respondent's Congresses in Taraba State which took place on March 7th and 14th 2020.
