TOBI, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Ruling): This application seeks for a number of orders. They are (1) for enlargement of time within which the 3rd Respondent may file an "Appellants Brief of Argument" and the 1st-3rd respondents to file a Notice of Intention to contend that the Judgment should be Affirmed on Grounds other than those relied on by the Court below. (2) for granting the 1st and 2nd Respondents liberty to amend their Brief dated 24/6/88 and previously filed by substituting therefor the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Respondent's Brief filed on 29/5/90 and (3) to deem the "Notice of Intention to contend... etc." and the 1st to 3rd Respondents Brief ...etc" already filed as properly filed. The application is supported by a 6-paragraph affidavit. The learned counsel for the respondent/applicants, Mr. Bankole Aluko told the court what necessitated the application.
