OYEBISI FOLAYEMI OMOLEYE, J.C.A. (Delivering the Leading Judgment): This is an appeal against the ruling of the High Court of Jigawa State sitting in Dutse per A.I. Gumel, J, (hereafter referred to as “the trial Court”) delivered on the 6th day of August, 2020 in Suit No. JDU/MT.128/2020. 

The background facts leading to this appeal from the perspective of the Appellants are that, the 1st set of Respondents, Hon. Sani Isyaku Abubakar (hereinafter referred to as the 1st set of Respondents) as Judgment Creditor had filed a Motion Ex-parte dated 21st day of July 2020. As contained on the face of the application, three prayers were sought by him. The first prayer is for an order of the trial Court to attach all the funds in all the accounts of the 1st and 2nd Appellants with the fourteen (14) Garnishee Banks to satisfy a judgment sum of Three Million Naira (N3,000,000.00).
