J U D G M E N T 

Plaintiffs’ Case 

The case of the plaintiffs’ is that the 1st plaintiff acquired the land in dispute from the  defendant and made part payment of the agreed consideration leaving an amount of  GH₵500,000.00 to be paid. After the payment of the initial consideration, the  defendant duly transferred the land to the 1st plaintiff and this is evidenced by a deed  of assignment dated 11th April 2013 which was tendered in evidence as exhibit A.  

The 1st plaintiff asserts that he had difficulties paying the remaining balance of  GH₵500,000.00 and further developing the land and he thus allowed some squatters  who had been put on the land by the defendant to remain on the land and further agreed  with the defendant to protect the land for him until he pays the outstanding amount. 

The 1st plaintiff asserts that he entered into an agreement with the 2nd plaintiff to  dispose off the land with the aim of using part of the consideration to settle his  indebtedness to the defendan…
